Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients
  

  • Broccoli
  • olive oil or other vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°.
  • Cut the broccoli into florets of about the same size. If you have a longer stem, peel it, and cut into pieces.
  • Put the broccoli florets on the baking sheet and drizzle some olive oil over them.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Use your hands to evenly distribute the oil and spread the florets evenly on the baking sheet.
  • Roast 15 to 20 minutes or until browned around the edges.

Notes

Add garlic or red pepper flakes.
