Apple Crisp

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 apples cut into thin slices (peeling is optional)
  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup flour whole wheat or all-purpose
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup soft butter
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Grease an oven-safe dish (8x8 square dish or a pie pan) with a little butter.
  • Place the sliced apples into your baking dish.
  • Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and soft butter. Use your fingers or two forks to mix the butter into the dry ingredients.
  • Spread this mixture over the apples in the baking dish
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and lightly brown.

Notes

This recipe can easily be doubled for a bigger casserole dish.
