whole wheat or all-purpose

brown sugar

soft butter

ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°. Grease an oven-safe dish (8x8 square dish or a pie pan) with a little butter.
Place the sliced apples into your baking dish.
Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and soft butter. Use your fingers or two forks to mix the butter into the dry ingredients.
Spread this mixture over the apples in the baking dish
Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and lightly brown.
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled for a bigger casserole dish.
