Classic Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1/2 head green cabbage finely shredded, about 6 cups
- 2 carrots finely shredded
- 6 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. onion grated (optional)
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 1/2 - 1 Tbsp. mustard
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Combine the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, onion, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper in a bowl, and then add to the cabbage mixture.
- Mix well to combine and taste for seasoning. Chill before serving.

Tips:
Make a lighter dressing by replacing some of the mayonnaise with plain yogurt.
If you like your cole slaw a little more tart, add more vinegar or lemon juice.
