Apple Crisp
Ingredients
- 4-5 apples cut into thin slices (peeling is optional)
- ½ cup old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup flour whole wheat or all-purpose
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup soft butter
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°. Grease an oven-safe dish (8x8 square dish or a pie pan) with a little butter.
- Place the sliced apples into your baking dish.
- Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and soft butter. Use your fingers or two forks to mix the butter into the dry ingredients.
- Spread this mixture over the apples in the baking dish
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and lightly brown.
Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled for a bigger casserole dish.
