Celebrate CSA Week with Willing Hands and Give Local Food

It’s CSA week, and many of the Upper Valley’s farms are launching their 2026 shares and membership options for the year. You can join Willing Hands in our work to reduce food insecurity and strengthen the community by participating in our Give Local Food program.

The CSA shares purchased as part of this program benefit the entire community. Sales go directly to farms, hunger-relief organizations see a more reliable stream of fruits and vegetables entering their food shelves and meal programs, and everyone enjoys a more food-secure Upper Valley.

More Food Last Year

Last year, 286 individuals supported our Give Local Food farm partners, amounting to $38,195 worth of food that Willing Hands delivered to hunger-relief organizations throughout the Upper Valley.

How You Can Participate in the Give Local Food Program

Now is the perfect time to be a part of our Give Local Food program, as many farms are planning their 2026 CSA shares for the year. There are two different ways that you can participate to make an impact:

Buy shares directly from a participating farm. Visit our Donate Food to see the list of farms and links to their CSA options. Be sure to choose to donate the share you’re purchasing to Willing Hands.

Or

Use our Give Local Food donation form to donate any amount of money that Willing Hands can use to purchase food directly from the participating farm of your choice.

This CSA week, we’re grateful for your participation in our Give Local Food program, which strengthens local farms, increases the availability of locally grown food for everyone, and improves food security in the Upper Valley.
