Willing Hands seeks new Board members who share our commitment to reducing food waste and expanding equitable and reliable access to fresh food in the Upper Valley.

Board members serve in a volunteer capacity for a first term typically lasting 3 years, with renewals of two more 3-year terms. Serving on the Willing Hands Board requires a meaningful time commitment, including:
-Attending 10 monthly Board meetings held in Norwich during evening hours on the third Monday of every month (virtual attendance on Zoom is optional)
-Participating in at least one Board committee, usually 1-3 hours each month
-Other responsibilities as described in our Board Member and Board Responsibilities document.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. No prior board experience is necessary. We are especially interested in individuals with experience and skills in the areas of development/fundraising and finance/accounting.
Your application will be reviewed initially by the Board Governance Committee. We may contact you for an interview or to request further information. Finalists’ applications will be referred to the full Board for an election in October 2025 and onboarding in November 2025.
